Many in the pro-life movement share in the belief that God alone is the Creator of Life and that every single person He has created is especially loved by Him and made in His image. All human beings, therefore, deserve respect and dignity. However, even those outside these beliefs realize that the rights of each human being, especially the right to life, should be respected and protected. To put it simply, being pro-life is about defending the human rights of each individual.
Because of the enormity in scale of the killing of the most innocent, vulnerable, and weakest among us through legalized abortion (more Americans have been killed by abortion than in all the wars combined), we feel it is our duty and obligation to come to their defense and to focus most of our energies in helping to stop this widescale injustice. Although stopping legalized abortion is at the forefront of our efforts because of the number of lives that are lost, those involved in pro-life work also come to the defense of anyone whose right to life is being jeopardize including the elderly and disabled through euthanasia, the marginalized through unjust social systems, those in the earliest stages of life through scientific experimentation and medical research, to name just a few.

Any country that accepts abortion This is why --Mother Teresa |
Those who are truly pro-life believe that violence should never be used to solve problems. Just as we condemn the violent act of abortion to solve problems within the family, we condemn the use of violence to solve the problem of abortion, especially toward those that disagree with us on the rights of the preborn. We as a pro-life community also reach out to the mothers who are contemplating abortion and are being led to believe that abortion will solve their anxieties and problems. Pro-Life organizations have been at the forefront in helping to provide countless women and families with more loving alternatives and offering caring solutions that seek to enhance the unique gifts of women instead of scarring them through the trauma of abortion. Just a few organizations that provide help are listed here.
As those who have experienced abortions can testify, abortion does hurt women and we seek to prevent women from a lifetime of spiritual and emotional pain, physical side effects, and debilitating regret.
And finally, we reach out to those who have had abortions or were involved in some manner and now desire reconciliation. Our prayers are that all come to find true healing and peace through caring individuals as you go through your healing journey. There are many places staffed with such people who wish to offer hope and healing.... some are listed here.
