We need everyone to work together to stop the slaughter of innocent children and to prevent the tremendous spiritual, emotional, and physical harm done to their mothers who mistakenly believe abortion is the answer to their problems.

There are many ways you can help.

1) PRAY

The most important weapon to stop the killing is prayer and fasting to convert hearts and minds. Only by the grace of God can this can be done. Prayers are needed not only for the mothers to choose life for their babies, but also for the children's fathers, friends and families who may be pressuring them to procure an abortion, bystanders who are apathetic to the destruction of lives and are allowing abortion to continue in the community through inaction, and those who are already active to become even more committed and to persevere despite the many obstacles.

2) PEACEFUL WITNESS AT THE ABORTION CLINIC

"If there are not large groups of people in front of an abortion clinic, it is a sign to all that the community, especially the Christian community, is giving its blessing to continue the killing [and maiming] the clinic is doing." --Randall Terry, founder of Operation Rescue

It is a very small sacrifice---whether it be some of your time or feeling ill-at-ease in being present at the abortion clinic---to come to the defense of these helpless human beings in danger of death and to stand in the gap for their mothers.

Your presence does make a difference! Since September '08, countless babies have been spared from death because their mothers reconsidered after seeing or speaking to the caring individuals present. These are just the incidences that have been confirmed. Many other women most likely have been spared from a lifetime of pain and regret through the presence of dedicated individuals without our knowledge. Helping to give even one child the gift of life and sparing a family indescribable suffering from the decision to abort their child is a tremendous joy.

The effects of a continual presence at the abortion clinic extends even to those driving by on route 37 who are constantly reminded of the culture of death that has descended upon our town.

You can also help us spread the word by printing and distributing our "Come Witness" cards.
(they are best printed in color on card stock) 

3) SUPPORT PRO-LIFE ORGANIZATIONS

that provide mothers and their families with more loving alternatives and supply the needed financial, material, or emotional help so the temptation to seek an abortion to solve their problems is eliminated. There may even be ministries in your church (like Elizabeth Ministries or single mom Ministries) that specifically help mothers and families. A list of organizations can be found in the Crisis Pregnancy Info page where you can volunteer your time and/or support financially.

4) JOIN OR START A RESPECT LIFE GROUP

in your church. These Respect Life Ministries address the specific needs of each parish or church. There are a few churches in the area that are in need of a Respect Life Ministry.

5) ATTEND EVENTS IN THE AREA
