There was a constant stream of women entering the abortuary today. It was utterly heartwrenching. Only 2 women were willing to take literature. None changed their mind since no one left early.
Bob was able to get literature to one of them as she was outside smoking at the entrance. We saw her read the literature immediately. During the entire morning she had come in and out of the building and it appeared that she was ambivalent about the abortion. But later that morning (after the abortionist had already arrived) she told one of us that she had already taken the [abortion] pill. More disturbing, she also said that she was 21 weeks pregnant.
This is not the first time that we have seen women entering the clinic that have had a little "belly pouch" indicating a 2nd trimester baby. Although we know for certain they do not perform suction abortions here at this clinic on babies over 14 weeks gestation, we are now uncertain whether they are giving out the abortion pill to kill babies over 14 weeks medically instead of surgically.
12 women with their escorts entered today (usually indicating an abortion). That could very well indicate 12 babies were murdered here today. Meditating on the Glorious Mysteries, especially Jesus' victory over death in the Resurrection, are a true comfort on days like today when death hangs so heavily over that cursed building.
Oddly, all of us noticed a crow or a raven perched on the roof, right above the entrance, during the entire time the abortions were taking place. None of us missed the obvious symbolism. In addition, when a couple of us were praying in intercession for the babies and those inside in front of the abortuary as the killing was taking place, the temperature seemed to be 10 degrees colder, the winds were gusting 20 mph more, and between the traffic and wind we could barely hear each others' prayers.
It was eerily demonic but the strength of God was even more palpable at that moment.
I pray this isn't a sign of an increase in this killing business for the entire summer.
